1970
In 1970, Gunpei Yokoi introduced Nintendo's first electronic "game" in Japan, the Beam Gun Game, a home version of the light gun games popular at arcades. 1975-1977
Nintendo collaborated with Mitsubishi Electric to manufacture a video game using an EVR (electronic voice recording). By 1977, EVR was brought into the home ("History of Nintendo Worldwide 1889-1979"). 1981 1981 saw the advent of Donkey Kong. It rapidly grew to become the best-selling coin-operated game of its time (Games).
